ALLERGY WARNING

I have one cat who resides in the upper level of my house. She has no contact with my fabrics, as they are safely locked behind two doors in my studio. However, as cautious as I am, there may still be a small possibility of second had contact from my clothes and hands. If you have a severe cat allergy, I advise you to go elsewhere.

Commission Guidelines

You must be 18 years or older to commission/purchase a fursuit from me. No exceptions.

When filling out a form, you MUST have a fusuit friendly reference sheet. This means at least a front and back view of your character with NO SHADING. Shading makes it difficult to determine the markings on your character, and is just over all unnecessary. I will not accept multiple art pieces of your character, IT MUST BE A FURSUIT REFERENCE SHEET.  I will also not accept AI generated references. Anyone who submits an AI generated image, or is caught using stolen artwork as a reference will be black listed from commissions, auctions, and purchasing premade suits.

Payment Plans

Payment plans are accepted through Paypal's "Pay Later" option. To use this feature, you must be pre approved for Paypal Credit. This allows you to set your payment plan to fit your personal budget, and gets you into the queue immediately! Paypal "Pay Later" offers plans for up to 24 months, and payments can be as low as $100/month!

If you need to apply for PayPal Credit, please click here:  LINK

If you do not qualify for PayPal credit, I also offer payment plans with 40% down, and a minimum of $400/month until paid in full. You will not be added to the queue until the amount is paid off.

Warranty/Returns

Every item comes with a 30 day limited warranty covering workmanship and materials. Repairs or replacements will be made for free within this period. This warranty does NOT cover errors or oversights to the fursuit design. If you do not catch or mention these changes during the building process where WIPS are given, you may not request changes after the fact.

Please note that the warranty will be null and void if:

  • the item has been abused or used improperly

  • the item has been altered in any way

  • the item is soiled or has a smell, and has not been cleaned prior to return the customer has not cooperated with efforts to collect shipping insurance on an item that has arrived damaged (see below).

Photos will need to be provided to confirm that the damages are covered under the limited warranty.

Please note that LLM standard commissions are not meant to withstand rough use such as LARP, rough housing, extreme dancing, etc. If you have intentions of using your fursuit in this manner, please specify in your form so your price will be adjusted accordingly.

  • We DO NOT offer refunds, returns, or exchanges once a commission is completed and mailed off. We also reserve the right to keep all materials purchased. NO EXCEPTIONS

  •

If you are at any point rude, threatening, or hostile, LLM reserves the right to cease contact and/or refuse working with you and the warranty becomes void.

Fursuit Turn Around Time

  • Fursuits will be completed in the order they were received (all items are first paid, first served) YOUR COMMISSION WILL NOT BE ADDED TO THE QUEUE UNTIL IT'S PAID OFF/IN FULL.

  • I DO NOT offer deadlines ; I take commissions through the year, and will give each client a rough estimate of completion. This does not mean a deadline has been given. Unless you have not paid an additional rush order fee, you can not push a deadline.

  • Please have all of the materials I need (ex> Duct tape dummy, shoes) shipped to me by the time you are up in my queue. You're welcome to send these to me at any time, but please consider if you plan to lose/gain weight during the commission process. I recommend waiting until you're around #5 in the queue.

  • If you fail to send your items to me by the time I need them, and exceed the grace period (1 month), I will charge you a fee of $100/month until these items are sent. Your suit will not be shipped until the fees incurred are paid in full. I also have the right to cancel your order if I am left waiting an unreasonable amount of time, and deduct the charges from your potential refund.

Rush Orders/Deadline Orders

  • If you would like your order to be completed for a certain convention, a rush order or deadline fee will be placed

                - 1 month: 60% rate

                - 2 month: 50% rate

                - 3 month: 40% rate

                - 4 month: 30% rate

                - 5 month: 25% rate

Any rush orders passed 5 months will come with an additional 10%-20% fee depending on the deadline given.

In order to secure your rush order, the order must be paid in full+rush fee within 30 days of the order

** rate will be added to fursuit balance **

For example:  $3,500+ .60% (1 month rush fee) = $5,600

Your rush or deadline order will be started at least two months before your due date. If the client contributes to causing delays that, as a result, causes the deadline to be missed (example: not responding to emails in a timely  manner, delaying the shipment of DTD and/or shoes, etc), the client will not receive a refund for the deadline/rush fee.

Work in Progress Photos

I will post pictures of WIPS on my Trello (link:

https://trello.com/b/qOOWzDlJ/llm-costumes-public-queue ) IT IS THE CLIENT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK FOR PROGRESS ON THESE GIVEN PLATFORMS.

What to expect:

  •  Clients will always receive at least 1-3 photos of the foam base that is taped up and patterned. I do this to give the client a visual of what their fursuit head will potentially look like. At this point in the process, it is clients responsibility to ask for any changes in the design/build within reason.

  • Next will be photos of the fursuit head furred, first trim, and with the eyelashes installed. At this stage, no changes to the design/build can be requested.

  • You will receive a final set of pictures once the head is finished

  • I do not typically post WIPS of parts such as tails, hands and feet. I use the same templates for my canine/feline/etc feetpaws and handpaws. If there are technical markings or shapes to these parts, there will be an exception to this rule.

  • Bodysuits will always have a photo of the dummy stuffed, padded if required, and taped/patterend. It is the responsibility of the client to ask for changes at this point of the process as there will be no more WIPS until the body is sewn together.

  • I reserve the right to post progress pictures of my choosing on public platforms unless otherwise discussed by the client. Please be sure to inform me if you see any changes that need to be made before the head is furred and the bosy is sewn together. It is your responsibility to check trello for these updates. I can not make changes once I proceed with the next steps

  • I ask that you please not repost WIPS from Trello to other social media platforms.

  •

Furs/Fabrics I plan to use for your fursuit will be posted in your trello card. If you are concerned about the types of furs I will use, links to fabrics can be sent to you for approval first upon request.

I use email as a direct and always open form of communication, but do not use it to send WIPS. ALL WIPS AND UPDATES WILL BE POSTED ON YOUR TRELLO CARD/MAIN UPDATE CARD. It is the responsibility of the client to check these updates and email me for any questions, concerns, etc. If you wish to see more photos at any point of the process, please email me and I will provide them via trello!

Package Insurance/Damaged Shipments Fursuit

If your package arrives damaged: First, do not unpack the box. Contact us immediately. We will contact the shipping company, who will send an agent to collect the damaged package and take it to an inspection center. The damage will be assessed, and the package will be returned to us so that we can repair the item, or otherwise deal with it.

There is no other way to claim the insurance, so please be prepared to undergo this procedure if your package arrives damaged. Failure to cooperate will void the warranty.

Please note that the procedure may be different for overseas deliveries, but we ask that you still contact us immediately at the first sign of damage, before unpacking the box.

Additions to Current Orders

As of February 26th, 2021, If you are upgrading from what was initially a small project (fursuit head/mini partial) and are wanting to upgrade to a fullsuit, it will be treated as a new commission and those additional parts will be placed at the end of the queue. Exceptions to this rule will be if you are only wanting to add smaller parts to your order (example: adding feetpaws to your mini partial, or a pair of paws to your fursuit head commission) this can be added to your current order and will be completed alongside it!

Cancellation/Alteration

Once a project is started, changes may not be made to the design.

We reserve the right to cancel any commission at any stage of the process if the commissioner is rude, threatening, or otherwise unreasonable. Unless we agree to them, no changes can be made to a commission once we have purchased the supplies. The client will be refunded in accordance to our TOS, and the suit will be slightly altered and sold as a premade.

In the event that a client keeps us waiting for an unreasonable amount of time for their DTD, shoes, measurements, as well as any other important items/information (a grace period of 1 month will be given from the time their suit is started), we reserve the right to cancel and charge an additional inconvenience fee of 20%, as well as the 10% cancelation fee. You will be refunded based on the work we’ve already done, minus the non refundable 40% deposit and blacklisted from commissioning us again.  If you have trouble obtaining the item we need to make your suit, please contact us for assistance.

Should the client cancel a commission, the balance (minus the down payment, 10% cancelation fee , any late fees incurred , and any work made to the project) can be refunded, or the full amount paid can be credited toward another project. Full monetary refunds will not be given under any circumstance. We reserve the right to complete the cancelled project any way we choose and sell it at auction.

If you do not pay your monthly fees in accordance to our payment plan (a minimum of $400/month) that is agreed to upon project acceptance and cannot keep good e-mail contact, a $100 late fee will be added to your balance for each month you’re late, or I reserve the right to cancel your commission and refund you only what you have paid towards it, minus any late fees incurred, as well as the 40% non refundable deposit. If you do not pay your late fee after the suit is paid off, late charges ($100) will be added for each month you fail to make the payment.   The deposit is non-refundable.  If for any reason something comes up that keeps you from being able to pay, simply send an e-mail and explain the situation at least two weeks before payment is due. Failure to do so will result in us assuming you just don’t want to pay, and your commission will be cancelled.

There are cases where we may refuse a project. This could be due to time constraints, or the actual subject matter. As with many other commissioners, there are certain lines that we will not or can not cross. If we refuse a commission/project, the customer will be notified (with reason included).

Once your fursuit is complete, you will be contacted via email to go over your shipping options. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the client, and will be expected to be paid upon completion of the fursuit. If this payment is not received within 60 days of contact without explanation, LLM will consider the project abandoned and reserve the right to keep, alter, and sell the project. In this event, no refund will be provided.

 Refund Policy

0% complete - 60% refund

25% complete - 40% refund

50% complete - no refund

70% complete - no refund

100% complete - no refund

During the commissioning phase, if you are having financial issues or if during the building phase you are not happy with how the suit is turning out, you are entitled to be refunded ONLY if the suit is under 50% completed. The above explains how much you may be refunded depending on how much of the suit has been completed. This does not include the 40% nonrefundable down payment which we use to buy materials and taxes. Please be sure that you are financially ready to commission us. Should you, the client, cancel a commission and request a refund there will be a 10% cancellation charge, and the refund will be made to you at our convenience in installments. Refunds will not cover transaction fees. Forced refunds will result in a blacklist and public beware.

Style and Limitations

You must describe, in writing, important features of your concept art. Any features not described may be overlooked, and we are not to be held accountable for such.

Some designs may be physically impossible to reproduce. If this is the case, we will suggest the closest physically possible alternative.

We will not copy your concept art perfectly. All designs will be translated into our style.

Also, certain features of concept art may not be possible to reproduce as drawn due to human proportion, human flaw, limitations of materials, and limitations of physics. Significant alterations will be discussed with you before the costume is made.

Shipping

LL

LLM Costumes no longer offers local fursuit pick ups or deliveries. All fursuits must be shipped.

All our items are shipped through USPS or UPS with package tracking (US customers). Insurance is always calculated in the shipping price, so please plan accordingly.  We do accept international shipping, however to have tracking for your package you need to pay for express shipping, which generally costs quite a bit more.  We do not accept payments upon delivery, all clients must pay for shipping before the fursuit is sent out. Shipping prices are determined on a case by case bases as an additional fee to the agreed final suit costs and will depend on box size and weight, so must be determined at the very end. Your item will not be shipped until the entire project cost has been paid in full, including shipping.

LLM is not responsible for any stolen or lost package in transit once it leaves our studio.

Once you have received your package from LLM Costumes, we are NOT responsible for any shipping cost on returned items. Customer is responsible for ALL shipping cost.

International Fees

Most international orders will incur CUSTOMS fees. We cannot be held responsible for these fees, nor are we able to determine what they will be, as they will depend on your country’s customs office. The customs fees must be paid by you upon entry of the package into your country. If you have questions about customs, please contact your local customs office. WE WILL NOT SEND YOUR SUIT AS A “GIFT” TO AVOID IMPORT FEES. Do not ask me to do this. It is illegal!

This terms of service is a binding agreement to the individual paying for the fursuit commission. LLM Costumes will not accept third party involvement, and will only speak to the commissioning client unless there is prior agreement that would bring in a second person.
